Cook tortillas and quesadillas the traditional way with the Clay Classic Mexican Griddle, prized for its thick, even surface that keeps tortillas from scorching too quickly.

Formed entirely from clay and hand-finished, this griddle, known as a comal, relies on the natural heat retention of fired clay to cook slowly and evenly across the whole surface. Because it's a handcrafted piece, shape and thickness will vary slightly from griddle to griddle and from the photo shown.

• Material: 100% clay, handmade
• Function: cooking tortillas, quesadillas, and other griddle foods
• Origin: handmade in México
• Care: season before first use; avoid sudden temperature shock and harsh detergents
• Uniqueness: thickness and shape vary slightly piece to piece

A must for anyone searching for a clay comal, traditional Mexican griddle, or handmade tortilla pan, this piece from Abba-Express brings authentic, slow-and-even cooking to every meal.
