Sized larger than the rest of the collection, this Tenango Embroidered Cushion Cover, Style 12, gives the region's detailed flora-and-fauna embroidery even more room to shine. Its larger scale makes it an ideal statement piece for a bed or an oversized reading chair.

Handmade 100% in the classic fine embroidery style of Tenango, originating from Tenango de Doria in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico, each design is stitched by hand in bright, cheerful colors depicting local plants and animals. As with every piece in this tradition, the extra size means an even greater amount of hand-stitched detail went into making it.

• Material: hand-embroidered cotton textile
